Anderson River Park has a disc golf course! I've looked before and didn't see it, but I found it today (July 30, 2006), and played it. It's pretty good, although definitely don't wear sandals unless you like picking star thistle and weeds out of your feet. Note: I'm not involved in creating this course -- I'm simply a player that lives near Anderson and wanted to post information about the course so others might find it useful.
It starts right in front of the Sewage Treatment facility building, right across from the little road that goes down to the amphitheater and "Wizard of Oz" kid playground. (see the maps). It's an 18 hole, sound-pole course. And it looks like they will be making cement tees pretty soon -- somebody had all of the tees framed up.
